Civil wedding ceremony in Rome at Complesso Vignola Mattei

An intimate civil wedding  ceremony in Rome was celebrated at Complesso Vignola Mattei between Jessica and Matteo. She’s from San Francisco, and he’s a Calabrian filmmaker living in Rome. Matteo and Jessica have decided to make their love dream come true in the Eternal City. Right from the first date, a beautiful harmony was established between us (which is essential for our style of photography), and even more so for this work carried out entirely and solely by me, without the presence of a second photographer (a preference when the number of guests is medium to high). The day began with the documentation of Jessica’s preparations, surrounded by her family who had come from California, followed by an intimate civil ceremony at the Vignola Mattei Complex adjacent to the Baths of Caracalla.

After the ceremony, Matteo and Jessica wanted to spend some time at the Basilica dei Ss Quatttro Coronati al Celio a significant place in their love story, where the couple photos were taken.

The newlyweds also chose to have an additional photo session as a couple, capturing their love and connection at a more leisurely pace in various locations around the capital, including the Orange Garden and the Basilica of Santa Sabina on the Aventine Hill.
