American wedding in Rome

Claire and Gene are a fantastic couple from California who decided to organize their intimate american wedding in Rome., They are a passionate and adventurous Californian couple living in Italy, always travelling for study or work. We first met on Skype and we were immediately charmed by their niceness and their spontaneity. Then, a few days before the wedding, we met in Rome. It was a simple and beautiful event for a romantic couple of bygone days, that chose Rome to celebrate their wedding, with the precious help of My Sicily Wedding Planner. Love, romance, good wine and laughs: the right ingredients for the sweet soundtrack of this intimate wedding.

From bride preparation to ceremony and dinner party, the couple chose to set all in the same location: Villa Silj, an old villa just outside downtown Rome. The ceremony was held in the little church in the park of the villa. Claire and Gene, decided to arrive at the church together, walking hand in hand. They crossed a path and, greeted by their family and friends, entered the chapel where they said “I do”. Tears and joy were not missing and a cute choir of very talented little girls touched every guest. After the very beautiful and emotionally affecting ceremony, we all went back to the villa to celebrate Claire and Gene with good food and excellent wine. Very moving speeches from family and friends, as it is usual in american wedding,  gave rhythm to the dinner and added a personal and intimate touch to the reception. The good wine set the right mood for the party, to the point that guests started dancing and having fun together right away.
