We first met Matteo and Rachel remotely (us in Rome, them in England) through a super fun and relaxed video call (well, it was relaxing for us — maybe a bit less for them, since they were busy looking after their beautiful daughter, who didn’t seem very interested in our conversation — and who could blame her!). Despite the distance — the couple had to organize their entire wedding from abroad — and the few times we managed to meet in person before the big day, we immediately felt a strong connection with this wonderful family.
The work that came out of it, we’re certain, is thanks in large part to the mutual interest and bond we built before the wedding — something we consider essential for the way we approach photography!

The preparations took place at the Hotel Kolbe. Their beautiful wedding ceremony was held at the Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli. The reception was also at the Hotel Kolbe.
Distance between locations: just a few hundred meters, easily walkable.

Time the couple saved and reinvested to spend with their guests: a lot — and every moment was filled with happiness!
